Swinging Into 2026 With a Fantastic New Activity Station at Buddens Activity Centre

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new climbing activity station at Buddens Activity Centre, featuring an exhilarating Giant Swing. This exciting addition may be available to pupils on a school trip, scouting adventurers, or those on a family holiday.

Located at our Buddens centre, the new activity station expands our capacity, enabling even more young people to take part in adventurous activities such as climbing and high ropes challenges. It’s all part of our ongoing commitment to creating unforgettable experiences that build confidence and teamwork and ensure unforgettable experiences.

The Activity Tower also includes a Giant Swing - a brand-new addition to our activity programme and has already been thoroughly tested by the Rockley team. It was an instant favourite, and aside from the excited screams, the main feedback was the same across the board: "it looks much higher when you’re up here!"

We cannot wait for young people to experience it throughout the year!

This is an activity built on teamwork. Two participants are securely harnessed in, while the rest of the group work together at ground level to hoist them high into the air. When they’re ready, one rider pulls the ripcord, releasing the harness from the hauling cable and triggering an exhilarating, free-fall sensation. As the pendulum takes over, riders soar back and forth, experiencing an unforgettable rush and impressive G-forces along the way.
