Located at our stunning Rockley Point Activity Centre, this all-inclusive 5-day programme is designed for those wanting to start their sailing journey or move on from beginner sailing whilst at the same time, having fun, making friends and enjoying being on the water!

RYA Stage 1 & 2

This introductory package is aimed at beginners who have little or no prior sailing experience. It covers the basics of rigging, launching, and sailing a dinghy in light winds as well as essential sailing skills such as steering, tacking and gybing. As they progress throughout the week, the focus will be on improving sailing techniques and confidence. Participants will learn more advanced manoeuvres, including sailing upwind and practicing capsize recovery drills.

RYA Stage 3 & 4

This intermediate package focuses on learning to sail in a variety of conditions, and develop a better understanding of wind and weather patterns. As the week progresses, youngsters will learn to become competent and independent sailors, covering more complex manoeuvres, including sailing without an instructor on board and making navigational decisions. Participants may also learn about racing rules and tactics.
