This year, Rockley College is proud to mark 15 years of delivering the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (Outdoors) - a milestone that reflects our long-standing commitment to developing the next generation of outdoor professionals and enthusiasts.
Since its launch, the course has supported hundreds of students in turning their passion for the outdoors and sport into meaningful careers. Combining academic study with hands-on, practical experience, this sixth form option has expertly prepared students for employment, apprenticeships, and higher education within the outdoor and sports industries.
Hands-on learning
Set against the backdrop of our Rockley Point campus, students benefit from learning in a real-world environment, with direct access to water sports, outdoor adventure activities, and industry-standard facilities. Over the past 15 years, the programme has evolved alongside the industry, ensuring students gain relevant skills, recognised qualifications, and the confidence to thrive beyond college life.
