NOVEMBER OPEN DAY HIGHLIGHTS
Course presentation
We talked about all the course options be it level two or three and all the practical sports we covered. Not only that, we covered all the free optional RYA training up to Instructor level that is available to our learners. Work experience in France, ski trips to Italy and days out coasteering and to the waterpark were also mentioned!
Practical Learning
Visitors explored our facilities and chatted to subject specialists across all classroom units and practical activities, allowing them to see the resources available to help them succeed and really launch their careers. We also discussed all the free RYA windsurfing and sailing training available offered to our learners with a cash value of virtually £2000!
Be inspired: Our Alumni stories
On the day, visitors got to meet our alumni and speak to people that have got gained course experience. Ex BTEC students spoke about their journey through the course which has led to them being able to continue “Living the Dream” - working as an instructor for Rockley Watersports in the south of France.

At the last open day our visitors were given a full careers interview with the Education Team and given advice as to what their future career in sport could look like. We started the process there and then with places offered on the day.

You can download an application form from our website and get started. Fill this in and return it to us to get the ball rolling. We’ll then invite you in for an interview on a Wednesday between 3pm and 5pm. These sessions allow you to get amazing guidance and a one to one advice session for tailored and impartial information and guidance related to your personal ambitions and career aspirations. Parents are also welcome to attend.
