At Rockley’s Poole Park centre, we offer a range of multi-activity and sailing options for your young people to participate in, either during school hours or as an after-school club. These sessions provide an excellent opportunity for your pupils to excel beyond the classroom.
Our range of exciting activities will encourage them to develop and display many personal qualities. It's a great out-of-the-classroom outdoor experience where your young people are given the opportunity to challenge themselves, work together as a team, build friendships and develop their confidence and self esteem. We offer a very flexible schedule to suit the needs of your group. There are many reasons why an activity session/s at Poole Park would be ideal:
We offer a flexible timetable of activities to suit your group requirements and goals. Term time only. Prices are per person. Minimum of 6 students per session.
SAILING
Poole Park Lake offers a unique and safe environment in which young people can learn to sail. For those who have never had the opportunity to sail, it’s a real chance to challenge and motivate young people to do something new and exciting. The sense of achievement they will feel once they get to grips with this sport is something that cannot be replicated in the classroom. Choose taster sessions or follow the RYA syllabus. All our sessions are led by a team of fully qualified and experienced RYA Instructors.
MULTI-ACTIVITY
Our multi-activity days offer young people the opportunity to try a variety of sports including: kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, Mega SUP and raft building. These activities are great at fostering relationships, building communication skills and
encouraging teamwork. Spending time outdoors, participating in adventurous activities as part of the curriculum, promotes a positive mindset which is reflected in the classroom.
