The 2025 RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show was a resounding success for Rockley, marking another fantastic event filled with engaging conversations, exciting opportunities, and a strong team presence.
"The show has been a huge success. We have had a 120% increase in course enrolments and a 75% increase in bookings where we have seen three generations of families make bookings with us." said Jack Clark, Head of Sales & Marketing for Rockley.
The two-day event saw a full team effort from Rockley, with founder Peter Gordon manning the stand, meeting customers, and taking bookings, while Managing Director Pip Woods took to the Knowledge Zone stage as part of the World of Possibilities panel, inspiring the next generation of industry professionals by discussing careers in the watersports industry.
The Rockley Clubhouse once again proved to be a key feature of the show, providing a vibrant and welcoming space for attendees to relax, connect, and celebrate their shared passion for being on the water. With exclusive show offers, engaging activities, and the ever-popular children’s Treasure Hunt, Rockley had the opportunity to connect with new and returning customers, many of whom have been part of the Rockley family for years.
Speaking at the show, Rockley Founder Peter Gordon said: "We come to the show for many reasons – it’s branding, it’s fun, it’s networking, but we do take bookings and that’s an important part of what we do here. We’re helping to get the next generation into our sport and the activities we love.”
With the 2026 RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show on the horizon, the team is already looking forward to what promises to be an extra-special event, coinciding with Rockley’s 50th anniversary. Jack shared his excitement for the year ahead: "Looking ahead to a milestone year for Rockley, 2026 will mark our third consecutive year of sponsoring The Rockley Clubhouse, and what better way to celebrate our 50th anniversary than with colleagues and friends who have been part of the Rockley journey? The show continues to be a fantastic platform to connect with the watersports community, and we’re looking forward to making next year’s event even more memorable.”
As Rockley gears up for its landmark 50th year, the team remains committed to delivering high-quality training, adventure experiences, and career opportunities in watersports and outdoor industries. The 2026 show will not only celebrate Rockley’s rich history but also set the stage for its future in inspiring even more people to get on the water.
