The ideal candidate will ensure the educational programmes are managed, developed and reviewed to meet the highest quality of provision and performance. This role will require a visionary individual who is able to lead and manage the future strategic vision of the educational business. Rockley Academy is part of the Rockley group, established in 1976 and a UK Limited Company. Rockley is the UK’s premier provider of watersports training and holidays with three UK training centres and three outdoor adventure centres located in southwest France. The unique and dedicated Rockley BTEC level 3 qualification in Sport (Outdoor Adventure) currently has 100+ students registered across the two years and has been designed to enable students to build a career in the outdoor and leisure industry specialising in watersports.

Successful duties will include but are not limited to:

Development of current educational provision
Development of future educational provision
Management of the educational team
Quality & standards of educational programmes

Essential Qualifications and experience:

A relevant first degree, teaching qualification and any relevant professional qualifications
A track record of managing within an education environment
Full driving licence
Proven experience in the development of comprehensive, detailed and responsive educational programmes

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

MIDAS mini bus driving licence
Watersports / Outdoor Experience or Qualifications
