Rockley is thrilled to present a unique opportunity for individuals to become qualified in a range of outdoor instructor activities - all for FREE.

This exciting opportunity is designed for individuals without any previous experience or formal outdoor qualifications but who possess a genuine passion for the outdoors. We will provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to excel as an instructor in a variety of exciting and exhilarating activities.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Assist in providing high-quality instruction to all students within the group once qualified
  • Learn to instruct a variety of activities under the supervision of the Senior Team
  • Learn to deliver evening entertainment activities as directed by the Senior Team
  • Maintain standards of tuition for practical elements, ensuring group safety and welfare
  • Be a positive role model, demonstrating the expected attitudes, values, and behavior to students
  • Deliver activities in line with company and local operating procedures
  • Comply with health and safety/operating policies and procedures
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people, raising concerns following protocol
  • Ensure clients and staff follow safety procedures and policies
  • Carry out equipment checks and maintain equipment stores inventory
  • Perform basic maintenance and equipment repairs or dispatch faulty equipment for repair
  • Engage in general center duties such as assisting in the kitchen and maintaining cleanliness.
