GETTING AHEAD OF THE GAME – GET RYA QUALIFIED THIS FEBRUARY

Here is why we think getting qualified early could be really advantageous:

BE PREPARED

There is nothing more satisfying than being prepared at the start of a new year and making plans. If you know that during the course of the year, your intention is to get RYA qualified in sailing, windsurfing or powerboating and it’s a requirement for a seasonal job, then why not book it in early, get it done and start earning.

We all know that life can often get in the way and some things fall by the wayside. Tick this off your ‘to do’ list and there are no ‘I didn’t have enough time’ excuses.

DON’T LET THE WINTER MONTHS PUT YOU OFF

OK so it might be February, but don’t let that put you off! We experience many sunny, crisp, winter days and as long as you are wearing all the right gear, then an RYA Instructor course during the cooler months can be a very positive experience. In the words of Alfred Wainwright: “There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.”

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE QUIETER MONTHS

A training centre will naturally be quieter during the winter months. This is the perfect opportunity for you to focus on the job at hand without the distractions of many of our other courses.

OUR COURSES ARE POPULAR

Our RYA Instructor courses, particularly our RYA Dinghy Instructor course is hugely popular and for most of the time, get fully booked throughout the year, especially over Easter and the summer. Our advice to you - either book yourself onto a February course or get organised and book a later course as early as possible. Don't forget to consider all the pre-requisites needed for your course and think about how you are going to make all the dates fit in with your busy life!
