Pupils from the London Nautical School, Year 1 and Year 2 BTEC students and the brand new ‘Leap for Success’ Scholarship students were given the opportunity to visit the Show, tour and meet with members of the British Marine and Boat Show teams.
Many of the students were able to try the on-water activities at the Mediterranean Bay pool feature, take in a tour of one of the Sunseekers, visit the Show Theatre and meet many of the exhibitors.
The Show has also been an annual opportunity for the neighbouring local schools to bring children in to experience the wide scope of the marine industry and on-water activities. Tuesday saw over 80 children from Cranmore and Culloden Primary Schools come into the Show.
The Show has proven to be a fantastic opportunity for Rockley students to learn about the breadth of career opportunities available in the industry.
