We are delighted to welcome Curriculum Manager Jake Williams to the Rockley College team. Jake first discovered Rockley when he was 12 on a school trip. That experiences helped to fuel a passion for the water that has allowed him to travel, teach and coach with Charities, Clubs and Commercial Centres all around the world. He's seen first-hand how time in the outdoors and on the water, can bring people together and change lives.

Now returning to Rockley as Curriculum Manager, Jake is excited to help inspire and play a part in our college students' journeys towards their own adventures. We find out more about him in our quick-fire 7 Questions With......

1. What is the best concert you have ever been to?

Red Hot Chilli Peppers at OId Trafford.

2. Tea or coffee to see you through the day?

Coffee every day. Flat white is my go to. I've even got my own coffee station set up!

3. One film you could watch over and over again.

The Nice Guys. So underrated.

4. Go to karaoke song?

I've only done karaoke once and it didn't go well! I believe I sang a song from Grease. Either that or Bon Jovi - Living on a Prayer.

5. Mantra you live by?

Live to Learn. Learn to Live.

6. Favourite teaching memory so far?

Working with a Blind Sailing Group. So inspiring and comical at the same time.

7. Favourite place you have windsurfed?

I'm going to go rogue and say Vasiliki in Greece! I've spent a number of summers there and there's nothing better than being on the water with all your mates, followed by a beach bar debrief.
